Hey there! Welcome to my page!
I'm Hahligirl56 and I stumbled upon DeviantArt because I was so impressed by the variety of artwork I found here; I really love fanart, beautiful photography, and art with fantasy elements, and those with lots of colors.
And animals. I love animals. Especially pugs. I am a pugaholic (and I'm very happy to have 2 of my own!) ^_^
I am a Christian, so you may see that my faith is very important to me, and I will gladly wish you nothing but good will no matter what your background or beliefs - we're all human beings and should be treated as such, and no one is better or worse than anyone else. Phillipians 4:6-7 is my life verse; it's helped me through some very rough times.
I'm 21 years old and am currently studying to become a speech-language pathologist, which I'm very excited about!

...And apparently after I had planned to write this entry, word broke out that Robin Williams has died. *Sighs* ...The world just got more dark and depressing. :'(
I'm doing great though. =) I realize my last entry was...almost two years ago, yikes! But I haven't really been doing any active artwork or writing lately, even though I have SO many ideas swarming in my mind like you would not believe! xD
So, what’s been happening? I have one more semester left (this coming semester) and then I will officially have my Bachelor’s degree! (hopefully…if I pass) ^^;

Hey guys, sorry for not updating for the past two months, but a lot of stuff has been going on in my personal life that I had to deal with. It's just: In addition to losing my six-year old dog this September, I had the unfortunate news of learning that my pastor (whom pretty much everyone in my community adore), is dying of Glioblastoma multiforme brain cancer, which is stage four and by far the worst type of brain cancer you can get; the tumor's about the size of a small ball, and there's really nothing you can do about it – You could do brain surgery, but there's a very strong possibility of it growing back soon after; besides that, the bra

Sorry I've been MIA for a while guys; I'd been going through some difficult stuff emotionally; my six-year old pug Lucy was diagnosed with Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia in about the middle of August, which about 50% of dogs don't make. I didn't handle the news very well and got sick from the stress myself; she stayed at the vet for five days, taking steroids and medicine for her constant diarrhea that she'd been having ever since we came back from Disney World. She came home and began acting like her old self again, until Wednesday, September 5th when she started having diarrhea again, and suddenly had trouble breathing; her poor body was swell
